Showcasing Art by Lauren Holladay

When I was in preschool, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I grow, I continue to study art at Charleston County School of the Arts  to develop my skills and nurture my passion.

I use many different mediums, including oils, pen, and pastels. I prefer working with pastels, charcoal, and pencils.

I truly have a heart for animals and love capturing their spirit on paper.  I find great joy in transforming a blank canvas into a memorable portrait of a family pet.

After joining my high school newspaper, I discovered another passion of mine; writing and editing.  As a staff member of our paper, I also utilize my artistic talents to create colorful cover artworks for our monthly issues.
